Reauthoring ISO file movie

Postby hybucket » Sun Mar 11, 2012 5:31 pm

I have created an ISO file of HUGO, 6.65GB It was created with DBlot to remove protection. When I try to backup with DVD Shrink, i get the "Current dvd size is too big..." error. When I try to reauthor, what comes up on the left side under DVD STructure, it says DVD Movie. On the right side, it lists TITLE MENU with a bunch of VTS files, then, MAIN MOVIE, with a bunch of files beginning with TITLE 26 and going all the way up to TITLE 86, and each one containng around 5000MB. I tried moving the first one (TITLE 26) to the left and burning it to DVD. What I got was the beginning of the movie, a few assorted scenes, which repeated several times, then the closing credits. From what I see here, and what has happened before, is it just says TITLE 1, and I move that over and it works. Anyone know what's up with this (I'm new to DVD Shrink..}? Thanks for any help.

Probably a copy protection Shrink can't handle. Rip main movie with DVDfab.

Not familiar with DVD Fab. Is it a "replacement" for DVD Shrink, which I understand hasn't been updated for years, or is it remove protection like DVD43? Is it a free download?

Actually, DVD-FAb has many redundant features to DVDShrink - none of them better (except decryption of course).

Personally - I use Slysoft's AnyDVD to rip the entire DVD to the hard drive - and then process it with DVDShrink.
Never once had any issues or failures. - Ever.

I prefer DVDfab cause ripping is free.
