Program shuts down when I press "Backup!"... help!

I am running on WinXP, and once i've opened a disc and then press 'backup!' regardless of the disk i'm using or changes to the output, the program just suts down approx. 5 secs later.

Please help
I'm quite excited and I'm really a newbie at this (but NOT technologically chalenged!!!)
